Is your dog naughty?
Does your dog escape?
Have you a nuisance barker?
Is your dog disobedient?
Does your dog run away?
Well we have the answers to these problems…
K9 Collars Containment System, sometimes referred to as an Invisible Fence, is designed to help with various problems associated with roaming dogs. These problems can include escaping through an open gate, jumping existing fencing, climbing over or digging out. A K9 Collars Invisible Fence provides protection for inadequate fencing to creatinga boundary with no fence at all.
A wire is run around the boundary or area in which you wish to contain your dog, from a house block up to a large acreage. The wire can be attached to an existing fence, buried in the ground or a combination of both to protect gates and driveways.
The wire is a radio aerial wire transmitting a circular tube like signal around your boundary. The signal is adjustable and is broken up into 2 areas. The outside of the circle is a warning zone and the inside of the circle is a correction zone.
A lightweight receiver attached to your dogs collar picks up the radio signal. If you dog attempts to escape and enters the warning zone he hears a continuous audible warning in the form of a “beep, beep, beep” sending a clear command to your dog to stop and go back. If your dog ignores the beep warning and continues into the correction zone, only then does he get a harmless but uncomfortable static stimulation at the correction level you choose. There are 5 levels of correction which can be individually programmed to suit your particular dogs.
With the aid of temporary boundary flags placed in the ground and the receiver collar, you teach you dog two basic commands. A visual boundary with the flgs meaning “do not cross” and an audio boundary with his collar telling thim to “go back”. Over a short period of time you train and reinforce these two basic commands.
Your dog has now learnt two zones. His safe zone is inside the boundary, his warning zone is at the edge of his boundary. You then show your dog what happens if he ignores the flag line and the warning beep and continues into the correction zone. You have now reinforced that “beep” means “stop and go back”.
The K9 Containment System is very flexible, not only can you keep your dog in, but you can ‘fence off’ areas where you don’t want you dog to go, such as garden beds or BBQ areas.
It’s portable. You can take it with you if you move house or go on holiday. It’s cost effective compared to conventional dog proof gates and fences.
The system comes with free professional on-site planning and one free training session. Full Installation/full training is available plus the backup of advice and assistance as required. Other training aids including bark control collars and remotes are also available. For more information contact Ross on 0428822468 or alternatively go to K9 Collars website:
